This program has been created to assist individuals who are not eligible for employment insurance, or related programs, who have been looking for employment and have faced challenges in doing so.

During this 10 week program, a group of experts will present workshops and provide the tools that will assist you in becoming more employable.  Focus is on finding work, yet also on overcoming challenges that may be hindering your job search.

Topics covered will assist participants in:

• Increasing self awareness and self esteem
• Improving communication skills
• Identifying and learning to  appreciate individual  abilities

Expert facilitators will assist the participant to:

§         Create a  solid career development plan

§         Target specific jobs

§         Master interviews

§         Learn about the “hidden job market”

Each client in the program will participate in:

§         Full time classroom activities for 6 weeks

§         Job placement/shadow for 4 weeks

§         Assessments that will determine personal strengths and abilities

§         Resume & Cover Letter building

§         Computer instruction and practise
